YouTube video link that gives a video explanation of the LORENZ FORCE...and a PLASMA..a visible ionized gas that comes about as the result of an interaction between an electrical current and a magnetic field. This is how the stars work...and possibly how what we think of as ghosts walk. Maybe the phenomena we encounter and think of as paranormal...are not. Could it be that what we are really seeing ..after everything else has been ruled out.. are poorly understood natural phenomena...with a basis in science?

The concept of Battery Drain phenomena comes from a long held belief based in anecdotal statements by investigators in the paranormal community that equipment such as audio recorders, flashlights and cameras will exhibit a rapid drain in battery strength prior to the onset of paranormal activity. It is believed that entities..if they do exist...utilize electromagnetic fields to manipulate their environment . This is why you see investigators on TV shows such as the Ghost Hunters or Paranormal State using EMF detectors to measure the amount of EMF they see during an investigation.
To the best of our knowledge no one has even proven or disproven that Battery Drain really exists. At Worcester Paranormal we are conducting an on going study to objectively determine whether Battery Drain actually exists as a phenomenon as a way to help document whether paranormal activity exists at all and whether activity increases with battery drain as claimed. We will document results on our web site when we have them.
We verify that all equipment has either had batteries changed or control pieces are checked and batteries reinserted. Control pieces have blue tape on them so they can be identified.
